Shell lets contract for Gulf of Mexico Whale development

Shell Offshore Inc. let a contract to Deep Down Inc. for work related to the Whale development in the US Gulf of Mexico.

EIA: US crude inventories up 400,000 bbl

US crude oil inventories for the week ended Feb. 14, excluding the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, increased by 400,000 bbl from the previous week, according to data from the US Energy Information Administration.

SM Energy 2020 capital spending plan down 20% y-o-y

Amarillo Midstream and an affiliate of Rattler Midstream have entered into a 50/50 joint venture to own, operate and expand a natural gas gathering and processing system in the Midland basin.
