The Product Navigator newsletter from DentistryIQ has been sharing product reviews, new product launches, case reports, and technique articles for many years. But let’s be real. A product is just an inanimate object. Products come to life, and their benefits are demonstrated only when they are combined with implementation. Moreover, the dental industry is bursting with new products and innovation. It’s near impossible to keep you updated with a bimonthly email. When I think about it this way, it only seems fitting to combine clinical education with products and do it on a more frequent basis.
In other words, it’s time for a change.
I am delighted to announce that I'll be joining forces with Stacey Gividen, DDS, editorial director of DentistryIQ's Breakthrough Clinical newsletter. Together we will bring you Chairside Daily, arriving to your email every morning to jumpstart your day with clinical tips and tricks, product updates, and real-world practice scenarios.
Stacey and I are both dental practice owners, so we are ready to talk about the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty aspects of clinical practice. Chairside Daily will arrive in your email after the July Fourth weekend. I’m looking forward to this new initiative, but I will always love and be grateful for The Product Navigator because this is where my editorial career began in 2015. I’ve learned to welcome change and embrace new beginnings, and I have a feeling that this collaboration with Stacey is going to be nothing short of magical. I can’t wait to take you on this ride with us!
Pamela Maragliano-Muniz, DMD, is the chief editor of DentistryIQ. Based in Salem, Massachusetts, Dr. Maragliano-Muniz began her clinical career as a dental hygienist. She went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her doctorate in dental medicine. She then attended the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dental Medicine, where she became board-certified in prosthodontics. Dr. Maragliano-Muniz owns a private practice, Salem Dental Arts, and lectures on a variety of clinical topics.
