It’s not a surprise that COVID-19 news continues to dominate the headlines: vaccines, vaccine mandates, delta variant. Looking at our web metrics, it seems that while COVID-19 poses many challenges to your organization, you’re focusing on the other challenges, too.
It could be fatigue for a virus that has upended the globe for nearly two years. It could also be recognition that other persistent safety issues deserve more attention.
Either way, the ability to focus on other safety issues is largely possible because of your quick actions to implement new safety protocols at the outset. Those protocols continue to be refined as new research and best practices emerge. At this point, though, and whether we like it or not, we all know the drill: mask up, wash hands and maintain your distance.
Also trending this month are some archival stories honoring those who perished and those who responded on 9/11—and what has transpired in the 20 years since that fateful day.
